What does "conservative" mean to a Republican?
It means that; the Will of the People is to conserve what has been established for them in terms of Rights, Liberties and the Pursuit of Happiness. Conserving our; Civil Liberties, Civil Rights, Law & Order, and the Protection and Pursuit of Happiness. Conserving all that has been recorded in our country's history from it's beginning; the Republican Party has been the strength of these individual liberties from the time of Abraham Lincoln.
The rule of law is paramount to law and order;
It is this value we intend to hold elected officials account whether it is for Immigration Issues,
to Balancing the Budget, Individual and Equal Rights, Protection of our Constitution, the right to Religious Freedom, Freedom of Choice of Education, Protection of Life in every stage; or what ever issue that is being violated or unprotected by poor or inadequate action on the part of elected leaders.
The core of a Republican is their Conservatism:
The American People regularily confuse our elected leaders with the meaning of government. Our government is the Laws, Rights and Liberties afforded us by our Constitution, Bill of Rights and Declaration of Independence most especially; not the men and women elected to protect our government. Our government was established many years ago by our fore fathers. So, don't blame government for it not working; blame the people who fail to uphold the Laws, Rights and Liberty of our government. Or, we may need to blame ourselves for not standing up for our own government. There is ONE sure way to STAND UP and be counted, and that is to VOTE.
We must all use something to guide us:
We must have some means to measure by and from a reference point. Every aspect of living has to have structure, so that we can regulate our lives or our country. If we lose our compass, focus, direction, laws, order, faith, discipline; we will float in chaos. For America, this is our Constitution, Declaration of Indepence and Bill of Rights as established by our fore father's. Defending these is honorable and to say the least, logical. Our fore father's, and fore bearer's (soldiers of the Revolutionary War) fought to give them to us, so lets defend them with a mighty VOTE.

Impassion Your Republican Side with a little GOP History
The Republican Party was born in the early 1850's by anti-slavery activists and individuals who believed that government should grant western lands to settlers free of charge. The first informal meeting of the party took place in Ripon, Wisconsin, a small town northwest of Milwaukee. The first official Republican meeting took place on July 6th, 1854 in Jackson, Michigan. The name "Republican" was chosen because it alluded to equality and reminded individuals of Thomas Jefferson's Democratic-Republican Party. At the Jackson convention, the new party adopted a platform and nominated candidates for office in Michigan. (WE ARE THE PARTY OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE). (WE ARE THE PARTY FOR INDIVIDUAL FREEDOM).
In 1856, the Republicans became a national party when John C. Fremont was nominated for President under the slogan: "Free soil, free labor, free speech, free men, Fremont." Even though they were considered a "third party" because the Democrats and Whigs represented the two-party system at the time, Fremont received 33% of the vote. Four years later, Abraham Lincoln became the first Republican to win the White House. (WE ARE THE PARTY OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE). (WE ARE THE PARTY FOR FREE ENTERPRISE, SELF GOVERNMENT AND FREE MARKETS).
In these earlier years; the Republicans of the day worked to pass the Emancipation Proclamation that freed slaves, the Thirteenth Amendment which outlawed slavery, the Fourteenth which guaranteed equal protection under the laws, the Fifteenth which helped secure voting rights for African-Americans. The Republican Party also played a leading role in the securing women the right to vote. In 1896, Republicans were the first major party to favor women's suffrage. When the 19th Amendment finally was added to the Constitution, 26 of 36 state legislatures that had voted to ratify it were under Republican control. The first woman elected to Congress was a Republican, Jeanette Rankin from Montana in 1917. (WE ARE THE PARTY OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE). (WE ARE THE PARTY OF EQUAL RIGHTS).
Presidents during most of the late nineteenth century and the early part of the twentieth century were Republicans. The White House was in Republican hands under President's; Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. Under these Republican men, the United States became the world's only superpower, winning the Cold War from the old Soviet Union and releasing millions from communist oppression.
Behind all the elected officials' and the candidates of any political party are thousands of hard-working staff and volunteers who raise money, lick the envelopes, and make the phone calls that every winning campaign must have. The national structure of our Party starts with the Republican National Committee. Each state has its own Republican State Committee with a Chairman and staff. The Republican structure goes locally to the County and neighborhoods; where Republican Precinct Committeeman workers get out the vote on every Election Day.

The Constitution of the United States has endured for over two centuries (221 years). It remains the object of reverence for nearly all Americans and an object of admiration by peoples around the world.
The Declaration of Independence provided the philosophical basis for a government that exercises legitimate power by "the consent of the governed," and it defined the conditions of a free people, whose rights and liberty are derived from their Creator. The Constitution delineated the structure of government and the rules for its operation, consistent with the creed of human liberty proclaimed in the Declaration. The Declaration of Independence, was the recognition that the ultimate authority of a legitimate government depends on the consent of a free people.
Thomas Jefferson had set forth the basic principle in his famous formulation:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
That "all men are created equal" means that they are equally endowed with unalienable rights. Nature does not single out who is to govern and who is to be governed; there is no divine right of kings. Nor are rights a matter of legal privilege or the benevolence of some ruling class. Fundamental rights exist by nature, prior to government and conventional laws. It is because these individual rights are left unsecured that governments are instituted among men.
The Constitution- the original document of 1787 plus its amendments - is and must be understood to be the standard against which all laws, policies, and interpretations should be measured. It is our fundamental law because it represents the settled and deliberate will of the people, against which the actions of government officials must be squared. In the end, the continued success and viability of our democratic Republic depends on our fidelity to, and the faithful exposition and interpretation of, this Constitution, our great charter of liberty.
It is this Constitution that the Republican Party endeavors to defend, it is our enchiridion or manual. That which has been embodied into our political platform for centuries and embraced since the time of our first Republican President Abraham Lincoln. This has been the case for generations of the American People to eagerly avail oneself to the rule of law. We must hold our elected officials to this law of the land.
The Constitution of the United States of America and the Declaration of Independence are but written documents only, if they are not defended by the VOTE of every American.

Cast your VOTE for Liberty
Expressing our patriotism with our VOTE is our security for all that has been established for us. It takes all of us, not some small percentage to secure our future.
That which you shall not defend, you shall lose in time; disregard it's significants and you shall learn what it is to live without it. George Washington told the lady who was inquiring, what was the conclusion of the assembly; He told her, "you have a Republic if you can keep it."
Our European Ancestors came to the North American continent in the late 1500's and early 1600's. It was not until 1787 that we had the signing of the Constitution of the United States of America. It took nearly 200 years to establish our country, wars were fought to secure it's establishment, earth moving determination and faith are but a few attributes our Fore Father's and the Pilgrims had in order to give us what we so often take for granted today. We talk of wars today as if they are so unlike our own history. Wars of modern day are helping to establish countries of other people to be free, as we wanted to be.
We had to escape our oppression, across a vast ocean to seek freedom. Not everyone can escape, our countrymen have went to help many in this situation. It is a soldier's duty and honor to help someone in need, no matter the political or social inconvenience. Not even death itself will deter the soldier on this kind of mission. The lives of many are greater than the life of the one who gives his for them. We ran into the wilds of the unknown to escape, they were willing to go where no one knew if they could survive. Meaning death was far better than to stay in bondage of oppression, so many made the journey across that vast ocean to the new world. The advancements of tyranny are so great today that many can not escape, so we must be willing to go to them. If we are able and ignore the call of those who want to be free, what worth has our own freedom meant to us? Tyranny means; Absolute power, esp. when exercised unjustly or cruelly. We must be resolute to defend, or how can we say we are American. To be American is to be a defender of Freedom for all. Freedom is not for the select, it is for all of mankind.
It has been deeply engrained into our very being, because of our own heritage; to escape, to survive and to be free. Our nations flag reminds us of the blood (red), sweat (blue), tears (stars) and soul (white) that our ancestors gave so that we may have more than they. This is just what each and every parent today wants for their own children. It is human nature, not an agenda of politics that an American puts on a military uniform or that citizens should go out to vote in support of those who are on the front lines. Yes, the soldier is the front line of defense, but it is the Voter who is behind the front lines shoring up all the blood, sweat, tears and souls. Our country wasn't named "United" States of America by some flucky mistake. The very word "United" is an expression of our purpose, our ideals and our heritage. It is also, meant to be an understanding for the people of the world that we are willing to share the burden of their dispare or oppression.
We have gone from 100% participation in voting to a mere 30%; why are some Americans' failing to recognize the peril which grips us during every election? Our enemies have said, that they would not have to attack us again because we would destroy ourselves. If the Voter does not do their part to vote each and every opportunity they are afforded; this may very well come true. Voting defends your country without having to put your life on the line, but you could loose your life as you know if you don't vote.
People say, "my vote doesn't make any difference." Well, keep in mind logic; if the 70% of voters' which do not vote would vote, we would have an 70% improvement of all the problems facing us today. It's not the 30% which is not making the biggest difference, it's the 70% who is not voting that is making the biggest difference because indifference breeds failure.
If the 30% voting population ever stops voting, the 70% non-voting population will find out just how important their vote could have been.
Presenting the thought; that, 30% of something is at least something. But, 70% of nothing will never amount to anything but nothing. Voters don't give blank checks to anyone, but the Non-Voter gives them out every time they don't vote.
The Voter' needs the Non-Voter', to VOTE; the math is simple
VOTE + VOTE = VOTES
