Superstition Mountain Republican Club - Apache Junction, Arizona
Feburary 12, 2008:
This club is local for Apache Junction residents; it's President is John Fillmore a local businees man and currently running for House of Representatives here in Arizona.
Their program is very informative because they get to the heart of issues, share solutions and could use your help to get where we all want to be in Pinal County.
The Superstition Mountain Republican Clubs next meeting is to be held Tuesday April 8th at the Feedbag Restaurant, 300 South Phelps Drive in Apache Junction. Social time begins at 5:30 PM. The Feedbag has a varied moderately-priced menu. The SMRC buys coffee or soft-drinks for members and first-time guests. The exciting meeting begins at 6:30 P.M.
State School Superintendent addressed a huge crowd at the Superstition Mountain Republican Club in Apache Junction.
Arizona State Superintendent of Public Instruction, Tom Horne was a "big hit" with the almost SRO crowd attending the Superstition Mountain Club meeting held Tuesday March 11 at the Feedbag Restaurant in Apache Junction.
His timely speech on several hot issues such as the E.L.L. court fighting, school funding and anti-American race based courses being taught in a Tucson School District raised many eyebrows and brought attention to the plights of our educational system in Arizona.
Mr. Horne (the keynote speaker) was introduced after Pinal County Republican Candidates, Todd House for Supervisor in District 2 and Dan Washburn, candidate for Superior Court Judge in Division 6. Both candidates warmed the crowd with their talks for change and a new direction for Pinal County Government.
Pinal County Candidates for April include Steve Fuller candidate for Superior Court Judge Division 6, and Douglas Coleman for County School Superintendent. Bryan Martyn, candidate for County Supervisor District 2, also scheduled, has requested that his presentation be postponed until June.
The keynote will be a presentation from The "Birthright Citizenship Political Committee on the State Initiative I-13-2008. Craig Tillman will be speaking on behalf of the initiative group. Additional information on the initiative may be found at www.enforcethefourteenth.com.
The Superstition Mountain Republican Club discusses local, national and international political issues from a Pinal County perspective with lively and timely guests. The meetings are fun and informative. All registered Republicans and folks desiring to be Republicans are invited to attend and become members. We have a focus to elect conservative Republicans to Pinal County Offices and to our legislative districts in 2008.
